What is Oral Sedation?
Oral sedation is taken in pill form around 30-60 minutes before your appointment. The medication helps you feel relaxed and comfortable while remaining responsive.
This is a completely safe option. You might feel drowsy or light while the sedation is in effect, which will give you a sense of detachment from any stress or discomfort.
As effects can last a few hours, we ask that you have a designated driver ready to drive you home from your appointment.
